Why me?

19 years between the US and Spain  

I’m a native Californian who’s lived between the US and Spain for over half of my life. I’m right at home between two cultures and languages.

As a former cultural ambassador for the Spanish government, I’m versed at bringing people together across invisible borders.

I’ve cooked and eaten my way through Spain while living in Madrid, Barcelona, and Cádiz. After spending eight years in the culinary hotspot of Portland, Oregon, I relocated back to my chosen home of Madrid in 2022.

14 years in research and medicine

I’ve worked as a research assistant in multiple lab settings, with a focus on pharmaceuticals and animal/human behavior. I’ve also been a lab technician, phlebotomist, and medical assistant.

I’m the former lead translator-interpreter and language services program coordinator for the largest reproductive healthcare provider in the Northwest US.
